Verizon is taking up to 50% off iPhone X, Pixel 2 and other popular smartphone devices with eligible trade-in starting this week. Those that opt for Google’s flagship device will enjoy a nice bundle that includes two months of YouTube TV, a Google Home mini, and Chromecast. Additional discounts are also available on iPhone 8/Plus, Galaxy S9, and more.
Let’s start with the Android offers. Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are both eligible for up to 50% off discounts when select devices are traded-in (more details in a moment). That brings the price down to as low as $325. Add in the YouTube above, Chromecast and Google Home Mini offer, and you’re getting quite the value. That’s over $160 worth of freebies.
The partnership between Verizon and Google is unique in a few different ways. While we regularly see trade-in offers from various service providers, what we’re getting today brings the value aspect to a whole different level.
While the Google Pixel 2 offer is available today, Verizon won’t be kicking off its iPhone discounts until tomorrow, April 5th. Much like the Android deals above, you’ll need to trade-in an eligible device to knock the starting price down to around $500 on Apple’s flagship device. That list of smartphones that can be traded in includes iPhone 8/Plus, 7/Plus, 6S Plus, GS8/Plus, Google Pixel/XL, Pixel 2/XL, Note 8, LG G6, LG V30, Moto Z2 Force, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Moto Z Force.
